This is my darling dog. She's the sweetest thing in the world and I love her to death. She's been living with my mom and dad now for a couple of years. What happend was that I stayed at home for about two years studying for a sociologi degree. Well me and the dog had the best of times. We would go for a little morning walk, than read for a couple of hours an then go out in the middle of the day for a long walk in the woods. The place where I live is so beautiful. I walk by the water and the scenery gets to me every time. That’s the reason why I moved here in the first place, to be closer to nature. I was living a life with a high power career and money. I chose this instead.
But I was telling you about my darling dog. When I went back to full time work she went into a depression. After weeks of her being totally out of it I loaned her to my parents. Well they bonded instantly. After weeks of going back and forth I just had to let her go. She was happier at my parent’s house. It truly was a match made in heaven (hard to believe considering my mom used to be scared of dogs). She still comes to visit me....and yes she is the most beautiful dog ever.
Well tomorrow morning I'm going back to the city to visit. I will not be able to blog, but I hope to bring back some nice pictures.
That's such a beautiful story! How gracious of you to let her go...
SvarSlettHave a lovely time and take lots of pictures! We'll miss you.
SvarSlettps- the dog is beautiful...I love collies. I am too selfish to let me dog go, but he does miss the mountains a great deal since we moved down to the city.
SvarSlettWhat a beautiful post and such a beautiful dog! It´s really a big pleasure to have a dog...Greetings from germany, geisslein
SvarSlettI had a collie as a child and she was one of the best dogs I've had yet. I shared everything with her: ice cream cones, my bed, hamburgers. It's sort of disgusting to think about now though but I loved her like crazy. She was my best friend. Dogs are the best companions. :)
SvarSlettYour dog is very beautiful.
SvarSlettThanks for sharing a picture of your beautiful dog, as well as her story. I'm not surprised she went into a depression when you went back to work, dogs are so sensitive.
SvarSlettYour dog is so lovely. You must really love your dog to let her go. I could never live without my little Pomeranian! :)
